Second Hand Equipment & Plant Decommissioning

From twin screw dewatering presses, steam heated disc driers, cookers, evaporators, decanters, mills, tanks and interconnecting product conveying or pumping machinery, Main Engineering regularly source and supply second hand equipment to meet a clients’ needs.

Machinery can be either sold ‘as is’ or offered overhauled and / or modified to accommodate a pre-determined specification, application or budget.

Main Engineering have assisted in the shutdown and mothballing of plant and equipment while ensuring that deterioration due to inactivity is minimised. In the event that plans change and re-commissioning is off the agenda, Main Engineering have contributed to the safe removal, sale or disposal of surplus and redundant equipment.
